The Outdoorsmen's Guide to Climate Change

Tackling the Latest Conservation Challenges

Picture
For generations, America’s sportsmen and women have led the charge in the conservation of our nation’s fish and wildlife resources. Thanks to the forward thinking of conservation minded hunters, anglers, and trappers, the outdoor sporting community spearheaded the development of the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, the American System of Conservation Funding, and the passage of several pieces of landmark state and federal legislation that demonstrated sportsmen and women’s dedication to conservation.

Today, our resources face a new threat in the form of climate change, providing an opportunity for sportsmen and women to once again rise to the occasion. The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation is continuing to elevate policies designed to help address the effects of climate change while highlighting the critical role that the outdoor sporting community plays in supporting conservation efforts and protecting and advancing outdoor recreation opportunities.
